The building is accessed at the back facing the water of the IJhaven. Following the communal entrance, the elevator is used to go up to the sixth floor where a corridor leads to the apartment. After entering, the hallway connects to all the rooms. Directly to the left is a separate toilet. On the opposite side is the bathroom that comes with a bath, wash basin and a walk-in shower. The master bedroom at the back has a great open view across the water. A seperation wall has been put in creating a smart use of space. In this section of the room a work station is set up and next to it a large wardrobe closet.
On the left side of the hallway an internal staircase connects to the lower floor. The lounge covers the back of this floor with four large windows allowing lots of daylight to enter and provide a similar view across the water. Directly in front of the staircase is a bookshelf closet which can slide open to give access to a guest bedroom, another smart use of space.
There is an open kitchen in the middle which is equipped with an induction type cooker, fridge, separate freezer, a proper oven and dishwasher. The so-called kitchen island opposite the main countertop is a great spot to socialise when having guests over. Next to the kitchen is the dining area which also enjoys lots of daylight from the adjoining balcony. The balcony (approx. 11 m²) faces southwards meaning the sun can be enjoyed throughout the day weather permitting. It overlooks the street in front including the Lloyd’s building which has been turned into a new upscale hotel. The parking garage underneath the building can be reached using the same elevator as for the apartment enabling a quick and easy way to park and go.
The apartment is available for a temporary lease duration of one year and the security deposit equals two months’ rent. The private parking spot can be rented for an extra monthly charge. Flat sharing and keeping pets is not allowed. The apartment is measured according to NEN2580 guidelines.
The apartment is located in a vibrant neighbourhood with lots of facilities. Directly to the right of the apartment building is a shopping centre where a supermarket is found and a variety of other stores for daily needs. Across the street is the brand new Hoxton Hotel housed in the iconic Lloyd’s building which offers a beautiful brasserie and more. When it comes to public transport, there are several bus lines within walking distance. In addition, the city centre including the Central Station is about 10 minutes away by bike.
