Layout
A communal stairwell leads to the second floor. After entering the apartment, there is a coatrack to the left and the door on this side connects to a home office facing the street side. It also comes with a large shelving unit for books, admin and other personal items. The hallway opens up in the bright lounge. Doors can be opened to a so-called French style balcony which faces southeast resulting in sun throughout the day. To the left there is a view towards a little neighbourhood square with tall trees, restaurants and more.
Further towards the back is the dining area where doors open onto the main balcony. During spring and summer it is a great spot to sit outside or just convenient for a creating a pleasant breeze. The open kitchen is next to it. The L-shaped countertop is a practical setup and the appliances range from a dishwasher, fridge with a freezer section and a separate gas stove with a proper oven underneath. To the right of the kitchen there is a separate toilet.

Area information
The street itself is mainly residential. Literally around the corner there is a variety of shops, restaurants and bars surrounding the cozy Van der Helstplein. From here, it is just a short walk to the busier Ceintuurbaan with an even greater variety of shops. Across this street lies the beautiful Sarphatipark where people go for a workout, picknick or a stroll. If in need of public transport, a tram and bus line have stops along the Ceintuurbaan and the North/South metro line is within walking distance as well.
