Layout
The apartment occupies the entire ground floor with a private garden facing southwards. The open kitchen having an extended countertop stands out straight away and is a few steps down from the rest of the apartment. Built-in appliances range from a dishwasher to a combi oven and a good sized fridge plus an additional freezer. Cupboard space is plentiful. Opposite the kitchen is the dining area which is separated from the garden by glass sections with metal frames from wall to wall. Doors open to the garden which is somewhat shaded. The garden shed offers space to store sports equipment and such.
From the kitchen to the lounge it is a few steps up. Directly to the left is a smaller bedroom which can be used as a guest bedroom, nursery or a home office. The lounge itself feels cozy and even has a wood burning stove.
Adjacent to the lounge is the bathroom with a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. Directly next to it is a storage closet where the washer/dryer combi is set up with space left for domestic appliances and such. Being in the heart of the Oud-West neighbourhood means lots of facilities are within walking distance. The Nicolaas Beetsstraat and J.P. Heijestraat are just around the corner with numerous cozy restaurants and bars. Also on foot, the Vondelpark and Ten Kate daily market offering fresh produce and more. Tram lines 1, 7 and 17 have a stop nearby and head towards the Central Station and beyond. Alternatively, having a bike means the entire city centre is easily reachable.
