This lofty apartment is part of a monument status building which was completely renovated several years ago. It has a real open character and is ideal for couples/families working from home. The central location means everything the inner city has to offer is within walking or biking distance.

Flat sharing with 3 or more individuals is not possible.

The communal staircase leads up where the apartment occupies the second and third floor. At the front there is a great view down the canal and two large windows draw in lots of light. A private staircase is part of the living room and dining area. On the opposite side, the adjoining spacious kitchen is separated by sliding doors. All the appliances are built-in with a large stove as a bonus. Using a corridor towards the back, there is separate toilet to the right before a few steps up connect to the guest bedroom. This bedroom has its own shower as well as a sink next to it, meaning guests have the required amenities to themselves.

Going up to the third floor, a landing connects the master bedroom at the back with a guest bedroom/dressing room in the front. The open bathroom adjoining the master bedroom has a separate bathtub, a dual integrated sink and large shower. A laundry closet holds both a washer and dryer. A separate toilet is also found on this floor.

From the master bedroom, access is gained to the 15 m² rooftop terrace with a secluded atmosphere and a great view of the building itself. Simply a perfect spot for a sunny retreat and/or a barbecue.

The apartment is available for a temporary lease duration up to 2 years and the deposit equals 2 months’ rent. Parking is possible using the nearby parking garage underneath the City Hall/Opera & Ballet Theatre which is just a 6 minute walk. A high speed (wireless) internet connection is present and the subscription cost can be added to the monthly rent as well as the utilities.

Area information
The street itself is mainly residential and relatively quiet. Nevertheless, a lively scene of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the Waterlooplein daily market with lots of fresh produce is within walking distance giving this neighborhood its inner city character. When not using a bike, public transport is available through tram lines 9 & 14 and the metro heading in various directions including the Central Station. A local bonus is the presence of the Hermitage Museum, Royal Theatre Carré and more.
