Layout
Using the communal staircase the apartment is accessed on the second floor. When entering, there is a dining table and chairs at the front. Also, doors can be opened to a French style balcony. Both the hearth and ornamented ceiling are original features and give the apartment a real character. In the middle is the sofa with a wall mounted TV and Sonos speaker already hooked up. The kitchen is found at the back of this room and has all the appliances built in such as a dishwasher, combi oven and fridge with a freezer section. The bathroom is directly opposite to the kitchen and has a walk-in shower, toilet and a sink with cabinets underneath. A separate closet houses the washer and dryer in one and offers some storage.

Completely at the back is the bedroom. A well sized wardrobe closet covers the entire left wall and on the other side of the bed another closet is found with lots of shelves. The bed is a queen size one and a new mattress will be ordered upon request. This bedroom also has doors opening to the northwest facing balcony ensuring plenty of daylight gets in.

Specifics
The apartment is available for a temporary lease duration up to 2 years and the deposit equals two months’ rent. Flat sharing and keeping pets is not allowed. The apartment is measured according to NEN2580 guidelines.

Area information
Living in this part of Amsterdam is pure comfort. With numerous restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance, it’s a thriving residential spot but with enough privacy. The well-known Museumplein is easy to reach by bike or by foot. At the end of the street on the Baerlestraat, a tram & bus stop is found with 5 different lines connecting to other main parts of the city. By car, the A-10 motorway is about 10 minutes away with for example Schiphol airport another 15 minutes.
